Hello! I am a native of Tennessee from Gen-X. I wasted a lot of time in school and ended up with a degree in foreign languages. That decision landed me back in school, where I never wanted to be. Nevertheless, I made a lot of pedagogical lemonade.

Now I’m happy to be working for the Department of Community Based Services. Much calmer. Better suited for my introvert brain.

I was always a writer since I could hold a pencil. My first novel, “Misty”, was about a dog nobody liked but me. I was nine when I wrote it. Nobody bought it and nobody else ever liked that dog.

Since then, I’ve written on and off, giving up completely several times. I’ve reached the point of, if not now, when?
